Infrastructure
Situated in the centre of Europe, Wrocław is easily accessed by road, rail, air and water. Additionally, the Lower Silesian region has the densest road and railway networks in Poland, which has promoted the dynamic progress of the region. These networks are well connected with existing pan-European motor and railway systems. A key priority for Wrocław and Lower Silesia over the next decade is to improve the quality of the road network to ensure continued strong economic growth and the development of tourism in the region.

Human Resources
Wroclaw is a leading academic centre in Poland alongside Warsaw and Cracow, and is home to many of Poland’s top research and higher education institutions. Wrocław students represent 7% of the overall number of students in Poland and 86% of students in Lower Silesia. More than 130,000 students are enrolled here in 22 higher education institutions (public – 10, nonpublic – 12). Last year 23,000 people graduated from Wrocław higher education institutions.
