Assess Yourself and Learn from the Best
This sentence expresses the philosophy behind the European Public Sector Award – EPSA 2009, which aims to promote actions affecting the welfare of citizens together with a sustainable development path.
The EPSA is the first pan-European platform and network of excellence that is open to all public sector organizations, it thus addresses the most pressing public needs and concerns in Europe.
Under the category “New forms of partnership working”, ARAW has been awarded a Best Practice Certificate. This is an acknowledgment for its efforts in the field of building a network where other public institutions, people and enterprises can take common decisions and share interests. This in turn increases ARAW’s legitimacy and accountability while being an ever more accurate service provider.
By submitting its project, ARAW has thus brought its work to the attention of a wider European audience. Thanks to EPSA, we are deeply convinced that our knowledge and social involvement practices will both benefit from foreign experiences and further develop tools which are culturally rooted to the Wrocław Agglomeration Area.
